The Forest RemodelingGreat News! The Forest High School Center has recently received a donation of 4 million dollars to renovate our clubhouse! The renovations will include a commercial kitchen, a back patio along with a sound barrier, brand new floors, and an opening of the games room. The renovations will take place from December 22 and will go until late May. Thus, the Forest will be closed during that time. Our objective is to continue to support our members while our building is under renovation. We will do this by serving our Woodside students at the Den, our Sequoia students at the SAFE program, and our Summit and Everest students at a neutral location which is at the PAL building, which will be open to all members from 4-8pm, Monday-Friday. PAL’s address is 3399 Bay Rd, Redwood City, CA 94063. Many thanks to PAL’s generosity opening their doors to us. Stay tuned for monthly construction updates!

The Forest Se Remodela¡Excelente Noticia! El Forest High School Center recientemente ha recibido una donación de 4 millones de dólares para renovar nuestra clubhouse! Las renovaciones incluirán una cocina comercial, un patio con una barrera de sonido, nuevos pisos y una apertura de la sala de juegos. Las renovaciones empezaran a partir del 22 de Diciembre y acabaran hasta finales de Mayo. Así que, nuestro sitio estará cerrado durante este tiempo. Dia De Los MuertosHere at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula's Forest High School Center, a group of Keystone students came together with a mission in mind: to highlight the good things that surround us, inspire positivity in others, and lead with love instead of fear. Their goal is to unite our community so that, together, we can rise above and heal. To support that initiative, the Forest Keystone Club planned a Day of the Dead celebration. On Saturday, October 29th, families, friends, and the Redwood City Police Department came together for a special community project. Through sidewalk chalk art, each person had the opportunity to dedicate a square to their loved ones who passed on.

Raza Day42 students were taken to the 2016 People of Color Day of Resistance (formerly known as Raza Day), held at UC Berkeley. Raza day is a tradition since 1977, was created by concerned Latinx/Xicanx students who sought to increase the number of Raza students in institutions of higher learning.
